Frequently Asked Questions


Q: Where are you located?
A: San Jose, CA.  I am available for photography services in the following cities: San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos, Campbell, Santa Clara, Fremont, Milpitas, Menlo Park, Palo Alto.  San Francisco, East Bay, North Bay and other locations are negotiable by request.

Q: What are your hours?
A: I am available by appointment only.  You can call or email to schedule an appointment.

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: I do not have walk-in photo sessions because I want to give each client my full attention.

Q: What’s my first step if I want a portrait photo session?
A: Contact and set up a complimentary portrait planning phone call.  I’ll discuss what you are looking for in your images.

Q: How do I schedule a session?
A: Sessions are scheduled during or after your portrait planning call.  A sitting fee reserves your session. The sitting fee is non-refundable, but should you be unable to attend your session and provide 72 hours notice, I will reschedule you to a different date and time.

Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: Book early to secure the availability.  The recommended time for booking is 2 weeks in advance.  Certain months sell out early especially during holiday seasons.

Q: Is make-up or hair stylist included in the price?
A: No, make-up and/or hair stylist is not included in the price.  The pricing is with a make-up and hair stylist partner directly.  Simply let me know during booking or pre-session consultation that you would like hair and make-up done and I will recommend an artist for you.  Clients can choose to have their hair and make-up done with their own stylists prior to the session. 

Q: Do you retouch photos?
A: Yes, I can retouch your photos.  The number of retouched photos depends on the photo session package.

Q: What type of payment methods do you accept?
A: I accept PayPal and credit/debit cards.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, insurance coverage is in effect for equipment, property and general liability. A certificate of insurance can be produced for locations outside of the studio.

Q: Is the studio heated or air conditioned?
A: Yes, there is central heating and air conditioning. In addition, space heaters and heat dish are available.

Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: Turnaround time is 48 to 72 hours depending on the number of photos.  Next day expedite service is available and pricing depends on the number of photos.
